Risk Assessment

Sales activities and distribution of natural gas by using a pipe has a high level of risk, whether arising from within the pipe itself or from the outside. The failure of gas pipeline materials is absolutely unavoidable, realistic efforts can be done technically by anticipating these risks through good pipeline planning system and by following the appropriate standards.

It is necessary to have the research and in-depth observation of all aspects of pipeline operations to determine actual condition of the pipeline and also the risk that might occur. This process is called Risk Assessment of PT. Bayu Buana Gemilang.

Risk Assessment is the process of measurement or assessment of risk and the development of management strategies. Strategies that can be taken among others, is to move the risk to another party, avoiding risk, reducing risk of negative effects, and accommodate some or all of the consequences of certain risks. While at your own risk levels include low risk, medium and high.

The Object of Risk Assessment are:

1. To Determine the risk level at the gas distribution pipeline BBG accordance with the "common good practice" that apply in the gas industry.

2. Making risk response planning of the risks identified and actions to be taken, namely anticipation, avoided, reduced, received, or transferred to other parties.

3. As a reference to "inspection & maintenance" of the existing pipe and new pipe construction reference (new pipelines).
